AloDeals

Deals on their own schedule.

AloDeals is a two-person curation studio in Zagreb. We keep an editorial calendar of retail offers, try each one at checkout ourselves, and email you only on the days something clears the bar. Some weeks that's twice. Some weeks it's not at all.

  • issues in 2026: 51

What one issue holds

Every email has the same four parts, in the same order, so you can read it in under a minute or skip straight to the code.

40–60 words

The offer, plainly

What it is, who sells it, what it costs now versus last month. No superlatives; we let the price do the talking.

one line

The code and the button

If a code exists, it's printed in the email and copyable. The button goes straight to the retailer's own page.

3–5 lines

Terms, translated

Expiry date, minimum basket, shipping regions and return window, rewritten from the retailer's legalese into sentences.

optional

What we passed on

The offers that looked good and weren't, with a reason each. Often the most useful part of the email.

From a retailer's page to your inbox

Four steps, always in this order. The send is the last step, never the first, which is why there's no fixed weekday.

  1. Scout

We follow the promotion pages of about forty retailers that ship to Croatia and the wider EU, plus tips readers send in.

    continuous
  2. Try it at checkout

Someone on the team places a real order up to the payment step. If the code fails, is region-locked, or hides a fee, the offer stops here.

    same day
  3. Write it short

Under 200 words. Terms in plain sentences. If we can't explain the catch, we don't send the offer.

    one sitting
  4. Send

The issue goes out while the expiry is still days away, not hours. Corrections go out as their own issue.

    when ready

Before you subscribe

The plain version of what you're agreeing to. It's the same information as in the footer of every email we send.

What we send

One email per issue. Each covers a single retail offer or price drop we've checked ourselves: the code if there is one, the expiry, and a few lines on why it made the cut. No product roundups, no sponsored placements, no third-party mailings.

How often

When there's something to say. Historically three to seven issues a month, never more than one a day. There is no fixed weekday.

Unsubscribing

Every email carries an unsubscribe link in its footer. One click, no login, no confirmation screen. You're removed within 24 hours and we won't email you again unless you sign up again.
