Terms of use

What AloDeals is

AloDeals is an editorial email publication produced by a small studio in Zagreb, Croatia. Each issue describes a retail offer or price change we have looked into ourselves. We are a publisher, not a shop: we don't sell the products we write about, take your payment, or ship anything. Purchases happen on the retailer's own site under the retailer's own terms.

Subscribing and unsubscribing

  • Subscribing is free and requires only an email address. You must confirm the sign-up email before any issue is sent.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to subscribe.
  • You can unsubscribe from any issue using the link in its footer. Removal happens within 24 hours. You can also email contact@alodeals.net.
  • We may remove an address that bounces repeatedly or that reports our mail as unwanted, so that we stop sending to it.

Offers, codes and prices

Every offer we publish has been tried by a member of the studio up to the payment step on the date stated in the issue. That is a snapshot, not a guarantee. Retailers can change or withdraw a price, alter a code's conditions, or run out of stock at any time without telling us. Where we learn of a change, we publish a correction as its own issue and update the page at /deal-calendar.

Codes are provided for personal use. Reposting a code elsewhere is not prohibited, but the retailer may cancel it if it circulates widely, which spoils it for everyone.

Editorial independence

Retailers do not pay to appear in an issue and cannot see an issue before it is sent. If an issue contains a link that earns the studio a referral fee, that is stated in the issue itself, next to the link. Where no such note appears, there is no fee.

Using our content

The text and design of this site and of each issue belong to AloDeals. You're welcome to quote short passages with a link back to the source. Republishing whole issues, or scraping the site or the mailings to build another list or feed, is not permitted.

Limits of our responsibility

We take reasonable care to be accurate, but the site and the issues are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from a price that changed, a code that stopped working, a product that disappointed, or a retailer that failed to deliver. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under Croatian or EU law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. Any dispute that can't be settled by writing to us first will be heard by the courts of Zagreb, unless consumer-protection rules give you the right to use the courts of your own country.

We may update these terms. When we do, the revision date at the top changes and the next issue says so. Continuing to receive issues after a change means you accept the updated terms.
